Been getting a lot of messages on WhatsApp from people I don’t know. Knowing it’s probably some form of scam, I keep them going for as long as possible to waste their time.

Learned a few things as they all seem to have a similar pattern/method of getting to the scam part.

Annoyingly I have also discovered that the fort messages sent to me were just a test to see if my number is active. If I never responded they would of left me alone - potentially.

Looking into this a bit, it seems to be a scam called the ‘Pig Butchering’ scam. Where they tell me they have insider information and “prove it” through screenshots etc. Enticing me to follow their leads, but it’s fake. I’d be giving money in but will never be able to withdraw it
