Every year an academic panel at our University judges the papers published by the whole Engineering Faculty.
Happy to say my paper has been judged as the best (!). Thanks to collaborators including @SuperFishiAl@Emily_F_Smith and many more @UoNEngineering @UoNnmRC
My final first author research article from my PhD was published in Analyst. OrbiSIMS depth profiling tracked the growth of polyaromatic species in carbon deposits. I cannot thank everyone on this paper enough for making this possible. #Sims

Absolutely loved working as part of this project - looking at distribution of skin for delivering formulations - now published in PNAS. Well done Nichola et al.! https://t.co/4d18XwkDTj
Latest work is out - using molecular formula prediction and structural measures to filter molecular 3D OrbiSIMS data. Can be used to ID proteins, lipids and any other molecule class of choice in complex samples @anna_kotowska@SuperFishiAl

Yesterday I ran my first 50k Ultra Marathon, I was happy at the start, midway and end of the race as photos show! Very muddy - but so happy this has been a long time of training and years of building up from less than 5k and I never thought I'd get there but here we are 😀
'The Analytical Scientist' magazine has featured me in their latest issue in the section on up and coming early career researchers!
I discuss my research using the 3D OrbiSIMS technique at the University of Nottingham😀

My second paper! 😊 Carried out these DFT calculations at University of Barcelona @IQTCUB@BSC_CNS with Dr Calle-Vallejo and a grant from @HPCEuropa3 . A truly wonderful experience and exciting to see the first of the results being published!

Another long piece that I had the pleasure to work on whilst on my placement at the Library. It took a lot of thinking to wrangle all of this information into an briefing that hopefully is informative and useful 😄😄 enjoy!
