Herbert Hainer: "Michael Olise is a player of FC Bayern München, and he is under a long-term contract. We are not a selling club. If Florentino Pérez wants to send us a bid - which has not happened so far - he can save himself the trouble." [@JBerner97, @BILD]
Lennart Karl was utterly dejected and cried on the pitch immediately after his injury as he knew right away it was something serious. Antonio Rüdiger accompanied him to the dressing room. Since the term was training in small groups, not all players noticed the injury at first. He was then taken to hospital and diagnosed with a torn muscle
In the evening, the entire team gathered to console Karl and bid him farewell. Julian Nagelsmann gave a speech, emphasized how bitter Karl's injury was – especially since he had practically secured his place in the World Cup starting lineup. Nagelsmann then addressed a personal message to Karl and told him to look at the positives: "that you're still so young and you have many more World Cups ahead of you."
Karl then tried to address the team but barely could get a word out. The room fell completely silent several times. He was finally taken to the airport to make the journey back to Munich and start his rehab. Karl will be sidelined for several weeks

Lennart Karl on IG:
'I honestly don't know where to begin, but it hurts beyond words to have to miss the biggest tournament of all. I did everything I could to be fit for the World Cup. Unfortunately, injuries often come at the worst possible moment.
I wish my team the greatest possible success, and of course I'll be supporting them every single minute. I'll come back stronger - I promise. 💪🏻
Thank you for all the incredible messages and support. ❤️ Good luck, @DFB_Team 🖤♥️💛
🚨 Breaking: Lennart Karl hat sich beim Abschlusstraining vor #USAGER verletzt! „Es sieht nicht gut aus“, sagt Julian Nagelsmann. Ein WM-Aus ist nicht ausgeschlossen! @SkySportDE
🚨 EXCL: Bayern Munich exploring move to sign Rio Ngumoha. 17yo Liverpool winger primary #FCBayern target for left side & aware of pursuit. No contact yet between clubs. #LFC insist not for sale + plan to strengthen attack rather than weaken @TheAthleticFC https://t.co/mYbWdds6Ip
@SkySportDE

Both captains fail to make the starting XI, with Rummenigge still not fully fit and Uruguay's Rodriguez injured.
🎙 An initial loss of commentary is followed by the welcome arrival of Barry Davies...
Thierry Henry: "I've always admired FC Bayern for how the club is run. Former players like Franck Ribéry, Willy Sagnol, and Bixente Lizarazu spoke very highly of Bayern, the club, the fans, and the mentality - basically everything. If you look at the players they sign, it's not always about big names. They bring in footballers who fit their identity. That's precisely why it works. They say to themselves: This player might be great, but not for FC Bayern. Or: This coach is good, but not the right one for our club. They stay true to their philosophy, I admire that" [@SIGermany ]
🚨🔴⚪️ Ismael Saibari to Bayern, very close and getting to final stages after the exclusive story on Monday.
The agreement between Bayern and PSV is closer, personal terms in place since two days ago, Saibari spoke to Kompany.
Medical will be done in the US, always the plan.
Say about Uli Hoeneß and the old men on the supervisory board whatever you want. But it’s thanks to them Bayern will always be financially perfectly healthy and never find itself in a situation like this.
@Mexico86HQ@tSHandJ@talkSPORT I have the same Danmark-Shirt, became 7 in october 86, it was my first WC and first sticker-collection too! 😊 Appreciate very much what you are doing here.
🚨🔴⚪️ EXCL: Ismael Saibari has reached verbal agreement with FC Bayern on personal terms.
Saibari wants the move and has already spoken with Vincent Kompany.
Club to club talks ongoing with PSV, as exclusively revealed today. 💣🇲🇦
Bayern have withdrawn from the race to sign Kennet Eichhorn. The club made the decision after thoroughly examining a potential move. Most of all, the financial conditions do not meet the expectations of Bayern bosses – but there are also sporting doubts about the 16-year-old. Up until now, Max Eberl was considered a strong advocate of a possible transfer, but he now supports the club's decision [@StefanKumberger, @SPORT1]
There are other clubs from all top leagues interested in Ismael Saibari, but the Moroccan is eager to join Bayern. It's his preferred destination. Bayern have been scouting him for years - and have now identified him as a transfer target for a few weeks. Bayern want to close the deal before the World Cup. If necessary, Saibari would undergo a medical in the US, where he is with the Moroccan national team. The main hurdle is agreeing a fee between the clubs. Bayern does not want to pay too much, nor does PSV want to receive too little. Nevertheless, there's a good relationship between both clubs. PSV would be happy to see Saibari join a top club, but want to be compensated properly. It could still take some time, but a positive outcome is likely if all parties show a certain degree of reasonableness [@RikElfrink]
Bayern's interest in Ismael Saibari is serious. The player's agent Ali Dursun neither denied nor confirmed when asked today. Bayern will have to put a 'substantial sum' on the table to get the deal done. PSV argue that if AZ are demanding €60m for Kees Smit, then Saibari, as the best player in the Eredivisie, should cost at least that amount as well. PSV have done business with Bayern on several occasions in recent years (Wanner, Tillman) meaning that the people in charge know each other well [@telegraaf]
