1. He thinks Putin will honor any deal after breaking Budapest Memorandum, Minsk I, Minsk II, and every ceasefire since 2014.

2. Thinks freezing the current lines = peace, ignoring that Russia used every previous frozen conflict (Transnistria, Abkhazia, Donbas 2014) to rearm and re-invade.

3. Demands Ukraine gut its army to 600 k troops while Russia keeps 1+ million under arms right on the border.

4. Proposes nebulous “security guarantees” enforced by a Trump-chaired council instead of NATO; i.e., a promise that expires.

5. Excludes Europe from talks, then acts shocked when NATO allies call the plan “absurd and unacceptable.”

6. Threatens to cut aid and intel if Kyiv doesn’t sign by Thanksgiving.

7. Lectures about “living in the real world” while pushing a fantasy where giving the bully everything stops the bullying.

This isn’t realism. It’s laughable naivety from someone has ignored everything Russia has done in recent decades, let alone the time frame spanning the post WW2 order he loves to hate on.
