And then you look at Bayern Munich. They are not stupid. They are organised, they are compact, they understand their roles. No ego, just team. And most importantly, they have the mentality that the game is finished only when the referee says it is finished. They keep going, they keep fighting, until the last second.

This is why they win.

You can win matches with talent, of course. Even with ego, sometimes you win. But to win the biggest competitions, consistently, you need something else. You need humility, discipline, and a real team spirit.

At Real Madrid, the quality is always there. But if you don’t control the ego, if you don’t create balance, then you will always have this problem.

For me, tonight was very simple. Bayern were a team.
