We are not going "back to normal" when Sanwo gives a lackluster speech about unity in a few days.
These elections have been riddled with voter suppression, intimidation, cheating, vote buying and straight up violence.
Is this the win they want?
People don't realise that all the bigotry, hate, and division that has fueled this election cycle cannot be walked back.
It's not over when results are announced.
We now have a more pronounced "outsider" category, suddenly with targets on their backs.

Someone I know volunteers for LP, sweeping H2 area. Unidentified security have barred them from entering Oniru. Called other stations ahead and reported the number plate of their car
Threatened to beat him and his guys.
Back at my Polling Unit 24-08-02-15 in Victoria Island and turnout looks at most a third of the last round.
Waiting to hear the official number of accredited voters.
#NigeriaDecide2023
Sanwo-Olu invited the army to Lekki Toll Gate, then came out to say "forces above my control".
For those who don't know, Lagos State has a State Security Council, which includes Army, DSS, Police, Navy etc. They met on 19/10/2020.
On 20/10/2020, #LekkiMassacre
Because 12 reasons
1. Democracy is about choices. Only in Nigeria does democracy function as autocracy & elites find it to be decent rather than fight
2. I’m able to separate my views from my comfort zone & see the brutalization of micro businesses/transporters by violent thugs
The problem is that any protest against the invalidity of these results will be painted as anarchist rubble rousing, met with maximum force, like EndSARS. The narrative will be that the youth are violent hoodlums.
