They gave him Guile's sonic boom and I'm here for it!

[Rock Solid @ShitpostRock]

How many of you remember the signature WOLVERINE BLAST attack from the comics?

[The Shotostar @ Frosty Faustings @ItsMeItsBG]

Hey dude I know you're really disappointed that the new fighting game isn't playable for you, but have you considered playing this completely unrelated fighting game I like that you have negative interest in? I know it's not a solution but I'm going to ask anyway.

"What if we had your friendly neighborhood spiderman have his own panopticon(flock camera) network to fight crime?"

“What happens to us after death?”

“We get sent to Smite.”

“Oh…”

[Jared @MaximumJared]

Leave it to Jake Paul to organize a series of disappointingly lopsided fight cards with his new org.
The only substantial one was the Diaz v Perry and that one was literally "guy made of tissue paper vs mike scissor-hands." I've never seen someone bleed so profusely in my life.

[Maximilian Dood @maximilian_]

Don’t buy this. They did a full demonstration and reveal the way it was because they thought it looked great. If it looked bad, they would’ve just waited to have the devs show off how good it could look. GenAI isn’t here to produce art. It’s tricking you into thinking it is.

[Jade Law @jadel4w]

Hard disagree.
This is everything wrong with the games industry.
You need passion for games as more than a product. This is why AAA is collapsing.

You don’t have to be actively playing games, I go through ebbs and flows myself. But you should be a gamer and be immersed in the culture and consumerism of gaming. Otherwise why are you even here? Go work at a bank.

What the industry should be doing is giving more autonomy to the actual creatives who have passion for the medium.

Let games be art.

[Acerola @Acerola_t]

here's an actual real time realistic 3D ocean simulation I wrote a few years ago without AI just by reading some papers. maybe someday Gemini can catch up to 30 year old rendering tech

[Jared @MaximumJared]

Arc raiders is fucking weird man. Two players just let me shoot them in the face with an Anvil for a quest when I asked nicely. Then they told me where I could find lemons and we parted ways on good terms.

[Jared @MaximumJared]

First time trying Arc Raiders. 30seconds in seeing this my brain goes:

"It's not a Beretta, it's a BURLETTA!" fuck u, go home, you're done.

[Punk @PunkDaGod]

I don’t play 2xko but i do agree that top players get wayyyyyyy too much privilege in that game. Pros should never test games and definitely should never play new characters and a patch before they are released that is just insane too me

[Jared @MaximumJared]

A nazi in spandex tighties made an american in jorts submit last night on live television. If that's not analogous to the state of our country then I don't know what is.

@ThunderBrush @TheCartelDel We're still stuck in this mindset of legitimizing games by constantly trying to emulate the movie industry by lionizing direction and storytelling/acting over good design and compelling gameplay. Doesn't help that they laud like 5 games across 15 categories.

[Jared @MaximumJared]

@ThunderBrush I need these actors to straight up JUICE for like 6months before filming. If Chris Evans could do it for captain america, then surely this guy for Vega. I need brick shithouses. I think the only one I was really convinced on was the Zangief actor.

[Jared @MaximumJared]

Total War Warhammer 40k is one of those obvious lay-ups that people talked about for years and yet we were all gleefully surprised by its announcement today.

[Jared @MaximumJared]

@TitanClumzy Big Whale.

[Jared @MaximumJared]

You're telling me we didn't get DLC to play as Acheran and Chairon fighting GSC in a hive city as their glorious send off? That I would've gladly paid for? @SaberGames @Focus_entmt ?

[L H G Λ Я T 🥔 @LHGart]

Ah yes, Acheran and Chairon is dead

[Dexerto @Dexerto]

He added on stream, “We all have to band together to make this game win. Us multiplayer gamers are the minority, but I believe we can win”
