Don��t buy this. They did a full demonstration and reveal the way it was because they thought it looked great. If it looked bad, they would’ve just waited to have the devs show off how good it could look. GenAI isn’t here to produce art. It’s tricking you into thinking it is.

Hard disagree.
This is everything wrong with the games industry.
You need passion for games as more than a product. This is why AAA is collapsing.

You don’t have to be actively playing games, I go through ebbs and flows myself. But you should be a gamer and be immersed in the culture and consumerism of gaming. Otherwise why are you even here? Go work at a bank.

What the industry should be doing is giving more autonomy to the actual creatives who have passion for the medium.

Let games be art.

I don’t play 2xko but i do agree that top players get wayyyyyyy too much privilege in that game. Pros should never test games and definitely should never play new characters and a patch before they are released that is just insane too me

@ThunderBrush @TheCartelDel We're still stuck in this mindset of legitimizing games by constantly trying to emulate the movie industry by lionizing direction and storytelling/acting over good design and compelling gameplay. Doesn't help that they laud like 5 games across 15 categories.
