@Asch790@CaseyBookAuthor No, but in The New Frontier, he did alter his costume to look a lot less scary to children. So even the dark knight knows that gaining the public’s trust is everything, otherwise it would just make his job so much harder.
@batv4leska@OurNinjaWay I figured, I decided to not be a jackass and ask him up front. But here’s an image of his booth in case people thought I was bullshitting.
@OurNinjaWay Either he’s too busy, or too expensive. Funny thing is, I’m currently at a convention that he’s a guest for. So maybe I’ll shell out the $40-$50 to get both an autograph AND an answer to your question. 😂
@miracleman29@SUPESASAHI@DiscussingFilm And even then, when Batman allows his sidekick to wear a colorful costume (and why he himself changes his look), he did it for a reason.
@SUPESASAHI@DiscussingFilm Then you (and Zack Snyder) don’t understand superheroes at all. Colorful costumes are part of what makes a hero look approachable to people. There’s an in universe explanation for why Robin’s costume is so colorful and why Batman allows it. Do you know what that is?
@Asch790@CaseyBookAuthor Having colorful costumes to let people know they’re the good guys have been the main ethos of superheroes for decades. Dude, why do think Batman let Robin have a colorful costume? DC’s New Frontier answers that question.
@adoredccomics@DiscussingFilm Casting Henry Cavill for the lead should sweeten the deal, but it seems like he’s busy with other projects unfortunately.
@damiebi10 So the inspiration being everything EXCEPT the comics. Here’s what the military uniforms on Krypton looks in the comics by the way. And I’m sure the space suits look like regular space suits as well. Not everything from Krypton have to be an overly designed CG mess.
@uprizzed567@Asensii20@DiscussingFilm You should have been here back in late March, where you would see a lot of posts from Snyder Bros. celebrating it’s 10th anniversary.
@Chibi__Hanako@AmazingAnndroid@AppleSlipper@BlatterShy The classic designs was part of Mania’s success. People who haven’t played a Sonic game in years picked it up because they saw that old design and went, “That’s the Sonic I remember.” SEGA doesn’t want to lose those people again.
@Emeralda_Chaos@AmazingAnndroid@AppleSlipper@BlatterShy Mario has had the same look since SMB3 the only reason he looks different nowadays is because of the shift in art direction. That’s like comparing Yuji Uwekawa’s Sonic art from
1998 to his current art. There’s a slight shift.
@ayyypepito No he shouldn’t. Sonic Mania did something the Advance and Rush games tried and failed to do, and that’s bringing the old school fans back into the fold. Getting rid of Classic entirely would alienate those fans.
