@mimospuddings say "hey, what's your name, I think you look cool, I'd like to know more about your outfit/makeup/photocards, I'm [your name], I also like [thing you asked about], wanna see my photocards/plushies/whatever?"
my worries about ๐น's diet come from someone who has suffered from ed's himself. I cannot express how prominent and rampant eating disorders are within kpop, and it doesn't matter what gender you or an idol are.
@tyotriestotype (character limit cut me short) I say this coming from someone who has suffered from more than one ed, and still actively struggles with disordered eating and thinking.
@tyotriestotype diet culture goes hand in hand ed culture, the venn diagram may not be a circle but there is absolutely massive overlap, especially within the idol and kpop industries. the motivations for starting a diet are the exact same that result in eating disorders.
@LadyEphemeral no bc the vast majority of my BC leaflet is just technical and legal stuff, it's been wonderful in managing my depression, mood swings, gender dysphoria, and heavy periods. it's the only medication I've seen where people are up in arms about side effects too like.
in defence of birth control, every medication has side effects, and as someone on birth control the side effects are quite mild, one of the other medications I have to take literally gave me an eating disorder.
a lot of furry hate stems from misogyny, queerphobia, antiblackness, and even ableism I'm some cases. how someone views furries is my personal litmus test on if someone doesn't put in the effort to educate themselves.
