It's kinda sad that I own the last Hitman that will be on physical now. But at least it's almost the coolest possible version I could have (25th anniversary + dev signatures).
Really wish I could get that preorder passport that was included in LGR for a 'complete' version though.
@vysuals Hitman, IOI removed friction from actions and even removed a item because runners whined. There OP items IO would never change cause it would upset them. They listen to runners as scene has alot of publicity. A game about planning the perfect murder is now reactive, anything goes
@SoVeryCuul lunar has a blatant keylogger and the telemetry is wild. i just don’t trust labymod to be any better.
long story short, don’t run game client modifications that you cannot read the source code of especially when they tout things like “performance improvements” or anticheat.
@__silent_ Tbh you could write absolutely perfect installation instructions with every single step detailed, but there will be somebody that gets stuck anyway, this exact reason is why i dislike writing install instructions overall
@Sinnoware The subreddit has this comparison grid. But they really should release a 'everything' bundle, doesn't need a discount (It's a decade worth of content). It would be pretty trivial, but I doubt it would ever happen as IOI must make some money off the part 1 scam.
@wolframem@AndrewGspeedrun If you want a example of friction, check this out:

Actions should have consequences and lock you in that action, instead of letting you react. Hitman was a game about planning the perfect assassination, now it's way too reactive and suffers because of that
@wolframem@AndrewGspeedrun We have items that break the game too that won't ever be changed because it will upset speedrunners.
(Completely legal emetics are a good example, they did remove the E-phone because speedrunners complained aswell.)
The only part of the community they listen to are the runners.
