This is pretty cool! I know a lot of my Tech fans won’t like this, but when I was working for @BCHsports, I covered Citlaly Gutierrez winning a state championship with the Stamford Lady Bulldogs in 2021. I did some digging and found the team picture (She’s 5th from left to right on the top row). Last night, she started on the mound against Tech and helped Texas win their second straight national title! A great way to close her senior season! It’s pretty cool some of the things you end up covering in this job!

How cool is this? Today, Drew Blass and the OccuNet Classic announced John Daly II will make his pro debut at the tournament in Amarillo! His dad also competed in a Korn Ferry Tour event, the Ben Hogan Tour at the time, in Amarillo in 1990!

After losing game one last night, the West Plains Wolves bounce back with two wins today to win the regional title for the first time in school history! Here’s action from games one and two (sorry we couldn’t make it out there for game three).

The Canyon girls track team had an incredible day at the 4A state meet and capped it off with an insane finish from Addy Bristow to win the mile relay and a share of the team state title. Bristow and Presli Pool recall the experience.

The West Texas A&M Lady Buffs are headed to the College World Series! Cadence Colborn and Avery Cannon came through with two clutch homers in the top of the seventh to propel WT to a 3-0 win in game three of the super regional! They responded after the game.
