Republicans and Trump are stuck with JD Vance! Democrats are going to run this video in an ad 24/7.
In this new video, Vance said people without kids are “sociopathic,” “psychotic,” and "deranged.”

Bill de Blasio called Jennifer Lopez’s take “absolutely outrageous” and says being a New Yorker is about more than where you're born.
“Your definition of home is the place that means the most to you. New York City has been my whole world.” https://t.co/ix8yswpnzl
As ICE gets more funding, Max Rose is asking the question Republicans don't want answered: How will the largest paramilitary force under the president's control be used on election day?
That's the only question that matters.

Totally agree! Gotta give it to you- it’s impressive how you forced the mayor to break his commitment to leading progressive & chairman of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus. He does whatever you want! We haven’t seen this type of raw political power over a NYC mayor since Tweed!
What does it actually take to make AI benefit everyone?
We asked @MaxRose4NY to break down the three things that need to happen to make AI work for everyone.
"Number one is access to compute... data center bans de facto make compute more expensive and make AI only an elitist privilege."
"Second is real AI education... not 'here's how you go on ChatGPT.' How do you teach someone to use this as the best thought partner they could ever have?"
"The third... and I think this is even more important than one and two... is how do we update career counseling in an age of AI?"
"The skill set that will matter more now than ever is the ability to interact with others, to build a network, to be a storyteller, a great communicator."
.@MaxRose4NY: "There's no such thing as an AI sector. It's a technology that pervades everything."
"I can't think of one sector that doesn't involve AI on a fundamental basis and isn't actively looking to hire talent that understands it."
"If we could go back to 1998 and say, 'What do we wanna do about the internet knowing what we know today?', you wouldn't say, 'How can we stop it? How can we slow it down?'.
"We wouldn't say any of those things."
"We're going to be wishing we had not wasted all this time on these fantastical notions about how this should be stopped."
Could AI actually make wealth inequality better?
We asked @MaxRose4NY whether the AI era is any different from previous tech cycles on wealth concentration.
"Gone are the days where tech spend only benefited the Bay Area and Wall Street. This is causing massive jobs creation in Texas, Ohio, and a ton of other states."
"The biggest tech companies today are spending more on CapEx than our energy companies. There's such a deep symbiotic relationship between middle-class employment and tech spend, the likes of which we have never seen."
If the Mayor thought he was worthy of a primary he should have never stood with him. Yes - them standing together represented a new alliance. That’s politics. It’s also baseline morality and values.
That’s the 🖕I was highlighting- amongst I’m sure other opportunities they had to kill this story. Never meant to infer your reporting is anything but top notch.
NEW: @ZohranKMamdani is seriously considering endorsing @DarializaforNY over @RepEspaillat in the tightening Upper Manhattan House race, despite telling Espaillat he'd back him last year. This would give her serious momentum. W/ @mayaaking:

We can’t regulate what we can’t reliably test or evaluate, and we won’t make AI safer with traditional, static regulatory standards.
My new @washingtonpost op-ed argues that the government should act as a referee, not a regulator. By leveraging hyperscalers’ strong incentives to avoid navigating a thicket of 50 state laws, we can make industry do what the government can’t: make AI safer. Here’s how: https://t.co/2Y5kbPI5IX
