@Mikejarman119@wrestlingnomad I like statistics but comparing comparing a coach that started in 1976 vs one that started in 2009 seems like nonsense. To be fair, I stopped reading it when comparing how many AAs one started with vs another. To be even more fair I don’t know what the point of the post was.
@Cornell_Kevins Great stuff. It’s also a reminder that being a freshman champion isn’t a guarantee that you’ll win four. I remember thinking Imar would be a 4-timer then came Joseph. Then I thought Joseph would be a 4-timer etc..
@purlerwrestling@NoBickal That’s the dumbest thing I’ve read. The vast majority of the HS wrestlers never even tried to go beyond High School. A high percentage probably quit after their first year.
@Cornell_Kevins@starvingbox Even leading up to the tournament, I was hoping you guys would be on more often. I was forced to listen to far less interesting podcasts.
@wrestlingnomad I think the vast majority of athletes are still graduating with kids their age. All else being equal, I think the true freshman who is 19 has an advantage over one that is 18.
