@AlanZibel It seems to me that they are referring to people believing that the idea of Israel existing (regardless of how you define the borders) as a Jewish democratic state is racist. The issue is whether or not they are willing to condemn other Middle East theocracies…
@SpecialPuppy1@BenKrauss5 I think he’s referring to the argument between majority report and Sarah Longwell (which I think Tim miller defended Longwell on bc they work together), where MR claimed Longwell didn’t want Abdul to win bc she mentioned why she didn’t like hasan piker
@JamesTheTweeter@SamSeder@SenSchumer I don’t think that’s really Schumer’s doing though. He chose mills bc she was an incumbent governor. And some credit to Schumer for doing a good job with turek, Peltola, cooper, and brown
@ArmandDoma@rowanfornow the only person who can really complain about their opponent is Troy Jackson and his campaign started under unusual circumstances
@sam_d_1995@StatisticUrban He normally comes out during the final couple of weeks. My guess is he goes to Maine, Michigan, NH, Iowa and Ohio (maybe GA for Bottoms)
@SpecialPuppy1@JoeMama158710@PranavSriraman Who are your other 4? I’d probably take Montana, Marino, Elway, and Tarkenton (the last one is a bit unusual but he was so good for his era)
@SpecialPuppy1@JoeMama158710@PranavSriraman That’s fair. In any case, I do think quarterbacks are really made a bit differently today. Teams seem to emphasize overall athleticism over standard passing skills
@IrvingSwisher@jaycaspiankang Given his history with the Steelers, he would win, but it would be close as he’d play defense instead of expanding the map
@SpecialPuppy1@JoeMama158710@PranavSriraman I assume the four you are thinking of are Brees/Brady/Peyton/Rodgers. Are you counting Favre or do you think his interceptions were too high?
How can you be a card-carrying true believer of the DSA — an organization that makes anti-Zionism a requirement for membership — and still fight all forms of antisemitism?
Mayor Mamdani refuses to name all the sources of the hate Jewish New Yorkers face.
Security grants do not substitute for moral clarity. A mayor who will not define antisemitism, will not confront terror flags being marched around in Jewish neighborhoods and terror sympathizers at the doorstep of a synagogue, and will not put his own politics aside is not fighting this crisis. He is managing around it.
The mayor’s actions or inactions only serve to help fuel antisemitism in NYC. This “plan” is just further proof.
