That puts massive stress on the chips, though. During R&D for our Jingle Miner Solo Pro 6T, we tested pushing 4.8T units to 7-8T.

After about a month of continuous running, the silicon degradation kicked in. The units became unstable, started rebooting frequently, and eventually could no longer sustain the target hashrate.

That's going to be tough on the chips long-term though. We need our units to survive 35°C room temps, so we can't push them that hard.

Actually, a large portion of our client base is now residential. They use units like the Avalon Q or FLuminer L1/T3 to mine while heating their homes, which significantly offsets costs. We also see large water-cooled setups recycling waste heat for agriculture or aquaculture. Their effective costs are actually much lower.😂
