Big @jake_maddox24 is a prime example of a player that has bought into his identity as a hitter and the numbers have showed it. 4 2Bs and 1 HR this week, showing the ability to pull the hanger L/L (and show off the wheels) and then a huge oppo RBI 2B on a 3-2 CH

Dirt ball reads are a staple of good, aggressive baserunning teams. One of the only ways to defend it is to have a catcher that is able to pick short hops and play catch to 2nd base. @Sprock34 nails 2 runners on Tuesday by using his glove on balls in the dirt.

The game is going to throw a lot of different pitchers and situations at you. Our goal as coaches is to practice and develop hitters that can take different swings and approaches and apply them to whatever the game calls for. Landon showing here why he is leading the team in RBIs

Swinging at the right pitches is extremely important, but taking the right pitches is just as important. @Bradyholbrook32 has shown an impressive ability to make mid at-bat adjustments to his plan, and he continues to get better at it every day
