It was time to sell. Hope this doesn't affect his international career. I hope this sets a precedent at Arsenal, it's okay to sell players that doesn't fit the manager vision. Martinelli is definitely leaving a very loved player and fan of the club.

Too much touches in and around the box. The lack of a natural left footer in the first half on the left was glaring. The chemistry in Midfield looks off, hopefully last preseason game to fine tune. Playing in smaller ground has always been horrible for a Renee coached team.

@scoutingindoors Adam Birchall, under Jack Wilshere this team was very good. Although more talented than now but the coaching was better. Sorry decision has to be made on Birchall and the recruitment team. Not signing a quality DM and CB profile was rubbish.

@ONE_AMN The club chased Vini, c'mon the writing was on the wall. Players get too comfortable here and don't want to improve or compete for positions. If Vini was signed, Martinelli would have still left. Let his agents(who are also Vini agents) go get him another club.
