@blurredinkAO3 You could put the recap in the bottom notes and leave a message at the top for anyone who wants to read the recap. Alternatively post the recap as its own story and provide a link to the recap.
@blurredinkAO3 I think that's the smartest way to do it. Even if you buy a digital copy you don't technically 'own' it. You bought the streaming rights and if that movie ever gets removed or altered you lose access to the original. Plus you don't rely on wifi.
@blurredinkAO3 Had another idea at work. You could have a door like the one in Coraline where it's bricked off at certain points but later is opened to reveal a long tunnel to the other world.
@blurredinkAO3 I'm always a fan of the Alice in wonderland entrances like the hole she fell down or the mirror she used in through the looking glass.
You could also go with it being a forest spot where the worlds just bleed together or you could have a smaller object act as a conduit point.
@blurredinkAO3 I agree with CAS. Your words do have meaning. The stories you create provide a safe place for those who seek it. A place to hide away and become immersed in someone else's tale instead of their own. You have a talent and it is not squandered.
@blurredinkAO3 Make sense. You could just sit on them till you're ready for an actual update and then post them? Even if it was a trick update I'm still excited to see what you have ❤️ also if that much changed it might be good for it to be a trick update because it should be reread.
@blurredinkAO3 I like rereading it in between your updates so while it's not a new chapter it's a new something ☺️Plus the prologue is a key building block of a good story. I'm excited to what you changed and how it strengthens the story ❤️
@blurredinkAO3 I'm currently rereading #theNumber3 (one of my favorite fanfics now) and I think it's clear in the prologue and you also give a great recap at the end of ARC 1 that clarifies everything. It's clear and concise.
