I’ve been reading the book of Joshua lately, and one phrase God continually repeated to Joshua was: “Do not be afraid”, “Fear not”, “Be not afraid.” And of course, every time the word of the Lord went before any battle, it always ended in victory.
Let me pray this for someone out there. It’s not for everyone. “Very soon, those who did not believe in you, and looked down on you, will look up to you.” And when that time comes, instead of paying them back, you will do them good and show mercy”

Doing it with all the audacity God has given me mehnnn!!!!
While still not forgetting the place of first seeking God’s grace and direction before anything else.
I’ve been reading the book of Joshua lately, and one phrase God continually repeated to Joshua was: “Do not be afraid”, “Fear not”, “Be not afraid.” And of course, every time the word of the Lord went before any battle, it always ended in victory.
Can I be afraid? Yes. Should I be led by it? No. Why? Fear is not a fruit of the Holy Spirit and it’s not one of the attributes of my Daddy. So if I carry His DNA 100%, then I refuse to let fear be a part of or even lead my steps.
There’s a phase you get to in life life,
all those hymns you sang in your childhood as mere songs , starts making total sense
Because what a friend we really have in Jesus ?
Yes I’ll admit
That post about Caesarian section triggered me
Because I’m a woman who was in labour for 40 hours
I was given the maximum dose of oxytocin three times to induce labour and did not dilate beyond 2cm
I was so mentally prepared to push out a human but my body just wouldn’t
Which one should I talk about?
The intense pain ripping through me every few minutes?
Should I talk about how excruciating it is to have doctors check you for dilation while you’re actively in labour?
Should I talk about the exhaustion?
Should I talk about how that when those who have vaginal delivery have long forgotten CS moms are still grappling with wounds and pain and numbness and tingling from the anaesthetsia?
I had my baby in Canada and the nurses kept asking me if I wanted a pain relief
I did not want any drug to interfere
I was ready to bear the pain and I did
I think I have the most supportive husband in the world. He stood there every second with me. Holding my hand. Wincing as Pain coursed through me
But he did not feel the pain. Not the physical one.
I did.
So has every woman who has gone through this
When the doctors saw that my contractions were not the “good type”, they said I could get a uterine rupture, I had to be taken for a CS.
And everyday I’m grateful to God for the miracle of a CS
That a mother who has given her all can still have her baby and they both be fine
So sir, when you have had contractions for 40 hours
When you have had 7 layers of your body sliced open so you can bring forth children
When you have gone months nursing a wound that is layers deep
When you’ve been placed on a cold surgical table and cut 7 layers deep
For some 4 times.
Then come back and have this Conversation with me
Thank God for your mother and the long line of women in your family that had vaginal deliveries.
But no two women are the same.
Don’t put that burden on the woman you would marry.
A CS is not a shortcut
A CS does not make a woman weak
A CS does not happen because you did not pray enough or you’re unlucky
A CS is a medical miracle so that women like me especially pre term moms, can come out alive from the mystery that is pregnancy and childbirth
Blessings.
When I started working in the bank, my parents lived in Alakuko, so I used to commute from home every day.
I would wake up as early as 3am, leave the house before 5am, and sometimes get home by 12am if there was traffic…
This particular day, one of my colleagues cooked beans… if you’re a banker, you’ll understand that kind of “beans” 😂 the type that everybody in the branch must eat from.
It was a shortage of 500k, so we had to rally around because our BOM insisted the money must be cleared. That kept me very late at work, and I couldn’t travel back to Alakuko that night.
I took a bus to Obalende, my plan was to look for a church to sleep in… one thing my mum always told us is that if we are stranded, we should look for a church for shelter.
I walked around Obalende and luckily, I saw a white garment church (C&S). I entered and greeted them, but the pastor said they had received a message earlier in the week not to accept any stranger into the church.
I left…
Then I saw a small bus outside the church, so I entered and sat there because at that point, I didn’t know what else to do. I was even thinking of getting a hotel when a boy came out… he looked about 23–25. He was the son of the woman from the church. He came outside and told me to sneak in.
He and his mum took me to a room called ile abo and offered me a net and a mat.
That was how I slept there… although I couldn’t sleep till daybreak because I was scared 😔
In the morning, he had already gotten me a new toothbrush. I also got a new dress and changed into it.
We exchanged numbers and became very close. He was like a brother to me…
That same month, when I got my salary, I bought 5 white garment materials for them.
One day, I went to work as usual, and one of my customers mentioned he was looking for a receptionist. I asked for the pay and told him I had a brother who just graduated. He gave me his email address and asked him to send him an email and mention my name.
I couldn’t even wait till after work…
I called him during my break. He prepared his CV and sent it immediately.
He went for the interview a week later and got the job… the pay was 180k for a start
That same customer later relocated to the USA in 2024, but before he left, he referred him for an accountant role in one of the big companies on the island. He said my brother was a great guy and he could vouch for him.
Today, he’s doing so well for himself, taking care of his family… they no longer live in church anymore 🥹
When I was travelling, he sent me 300k as his own support. There’s no week we don’t FaceTime…
We spoke last night when he asked if he should relocate to Germany or the UK for his master’s… he got admission in both countries. I know he’s going to do great things.
Anyways, that call was the reason I remembered this story… and I thought to share ❤️
You really never know how far a small act of kindness can go ❤️
Spiritual warfare 101 - No matter how overwhelmed you “feel” inside, never show the devil. You see, the devil is NOT Omniscient, so he does not know all things. The things he knows about us are things said and spoken of us. Or the things we let out from our mouths ourselves or by our reactions and actions. So while you may be overwhelmed in your soul, the way he gets to know is from your reaction. And because he is a wicked and oppressive entity, when he knows where it hurts, he robs it in the more.
But responding in praise confounds him. This is exactly the rationale behind the idea that praise confuses the enemy. Because he can’t understand why his onslaught is not causing you to give up and give in.
So beloved saints of God, regardless how you feel right now, find a way to release your praise !
“14 But I will hope continually, and will yet praise thee more and more.”
Psalm 71:14.
You are BLESSED 🙂
You can read all the books. Watch all the documentaries. Listen to all the stories. But nothing, and I mean nothing, will prepare you for certain moments in life until you're standing in them yourself. Marriage. Divorce. Childbirth. Losing someone you love. Parenting. They all look so different when it's your heart on the line. Your choices. Your pain. Your mess. Your miracle.
It's easy to sit on the outside with theories, opinions, and assumptions. It's easy to think you'd handle it better. Until life turns to you and says, "Your turn." And suddenly, you understand. You understand the tears. The silence. The fight to keep going. The strength it takes to show up when everything feels heavy. The courage it takes to start over.
Life has a way of humbling us all. So be slow to judge, quick to offer grace, and always remember, what you don't understand today, you just might face tomorrow. We're all just figuring it out as we go. And that's more than okay.

✅ Prepare a Short Greeting
"Hello Mr. / Mrs. Good morning/noon/evening"
"Nice to meet Mr. / Mrs."
✅ Start by Stating Full Name
"Introduce your name [full name] . I live/reside [name of city] and intend to apply for [position]"
✅ Tell Us About Yourself

- Experienced examples:
"I am a Management graduate. Previously I have worked for 2 years as [...] in several companies. After that...."
✅ Describe Your Experience and Achievements

- Experienced examples:

✅ End by Explaining Why You're Applying

That's it. Simple, confident and professional .
