I’m still thinking about that person who said WHA has better character writing for women than all of shoujosei and my oomf (who is too scared to twt this in public) said this which I kind of agree with. I still love WHA but like it really is a seinen sometimes.
Can/will that change in the future? Probably? but its only made all the more noticeable when its been ten years and nearly 100 chapters and yet the most meaningful relationships these girls have with any other woman in the story is agott and coco with their respective mothers.
It does kinda suck that all the important guidance the girls receive comes from their male mentors/teachers. Like genuinely whats the excuse that the only prominent woman teacher we've ever had got written out of the story 25 chs in? (who never even got a volume cover either!!)

thought we were past this surf dracula nonsense but I just had to watch *ten episodes* to “earn” the post-credits scene of an anonymous character stumbling on a dark, miserable hole and muttering “barely big enough for a child…” don’t make my mistake: skip OMELAS ORIGINS
