@mane3sha @SeanBurke Anyway, I just don’t think that’s an accurate representation of us. Sure we live more individual lives, and don’t have as much focus on family. I’ll give you that. I would move far away from my family for a good job opportunity, and I know that’s not common for Eastern culture.

@mane3sha @SeanBurke I also don’t know anyone who just casually wears shoes around their house. It’s not relaxing to lay in bed or sit back on a couch with shoes on. Also animals are unpredictable and aggressive if they aren’t fixed. In the US animal shelters fix all rescues for their health & safety

@courtcroissant @poetickate Also I had this conversation with my dad a few years back, and it really broke down our relationship. I told him that I didn’t believe that God would actually want him to close the door on family, and leave them alone. He “always goes back for the one”. This really helped.
