To our volunteers: THANK YOU for sacrificing your time to make Fresno a cleaner and more beautiful place for us all to live. I can't thank you enough, and I'm inspired by your dedication to our great city. I can't wait to see what we can accomplish together in 2025!

[Mayor Jerry Dyer @MayorJerryDyer]

What a year for @BeautifyFresno! 💚 More than 1.5 MILLION pounds of trash were picked up this year by our incredible volunteers and City crews. We also planted over 100 trees and removed more than 200,000 square feet of graffiti!

They've already invested over $70 billion in the US, and I'm here to ensure they see Fresno as an excellent opportunity.

This trip is completely funded by the Qatar Embassy, and I'm grateful for the invitation and for their belief in Fresno!

[Mayor Jerry Dyer @MayorJerryDyer]

I'm honored to join mayors from across the country on a visit to Qatar, where I'm meeting with investors and promoting Fresno as a premium investment opportunity.

[Mayor Jerry Dyer @MayorJerryDyer]

Qatar is focused on building subnational relationships with mayors and learning about direct foreign investment opportunities in US cities - especially in healthcare, tech, real estate, and infrastructure.

[GO-Biz @CAGoBiz]

Kudos to @MayorJerryDyer, @CityofFresno, state and local leaders for reaching this critical milestone!

Our team enjoyed being on hand to witness today's celebration.

[Mayor Jerry Dyer @MayorJerryDyer]

I'm very grateful to @CAGoBiz for funding this initial work, and I'm appreciative of @CAgovernor and the State for continuing to invest in Fresno. Like I always say, great cities have great downtowns - and we are well on our way!

[Mayor Jerry Dyer @MayorJerryDyer]

Today, we celebrated the beginning of water and sewer main replacements in Downtown Fresno and Chinatown - an incredibly important first step toward realizing the vibrant downtown we envision! 🚧👏

[Mayor Jerry Dyer @MayorJerryDyer]

This first project will replace or rehabilitate 15,325 linear feet of water mains and 8,905 linear feet of sewer mains, and it's much needed - some of those pipes were installed as early as 1934! This work will set the stage for growth and transformation in our city's core.

[Mayor Jerry Dyer @MayorJerryDyer]

It was wonderful to see so many cars lined up and taking advantage of this opportunity to keep their dogs safe from distemper, parvo, and rabies - and to receive free microchips. Thank you to our partners at the @sfspca for all you do to help animals here in Fresno!

[Mayor Jerry Dyer @MayorJerryDyer]

Hundreds and hundreds of Central Valley dogs received FREE vaccines this morning at the Fresno Animal Center - the first of many upcoming drive-thru clinics! 🐕💙

[Mayor Jerry Dyer @MayorJerryDyer]

Today we celebrated Filipino American History month! 🇵🇭 The Filipino community has made substantial contributions to our community, especially in the health care industry.

These students were so kind, courteous, and welcoming, and I'm confident they will accomplish anything they set their minds to. This was the best way to start my day and I didn't want it to end - thank you to the staff and students for having me!

[Mayor Jerry Dyer @MayorJerryDyer]

WOW! I was blown away this morning by the energy and spirit at Storey Elementary's Character Counts Rally! 🙌🎉

I spoke to the students about the importance of character, good choices, and seizing opportunities in your life.
