We are incredibly proud to announce that Lowell has officially become the first city in the US to be recognized as a Frontrunner City under the UN’s Urban SDG framework! This designation highlights our city’s commitment to innovation, sustainability, and community-driven progress
We had the honor of raising the Black History flag at City Hall! This event served as a powerful reminder of the resilience, achievements, and contributions of Black leaders, both past and present.
As Mayor of Lowell, I find it deeply disappointing that @KellyAyotte chose to single out Lowell and Lawrence in her recent tweet about drug trafficking.

It’s time for drug dealers from Lowell and Lawrence to be afraid of trafficking their poison into our state.
New Hampshire law enforcement will find you, stop you, and lock you up.

@KellyAyotte Lowell & Lawrence are thriving with top universities, vibrant culture, & hardworking communities. NH’s cheap shots are disappointing—Manchester is a trafficking hub drawing people from VT, northern NH, & ME. Fix your backyard before pointing fingers.
