@VarsityGamingTV Mines been broken all season and I’ve had no success with fixes I’ve found on Reddit/etc. The VOIP used to work but now that even isn’t. It’s pretty frustrating.
@Synnerette 1000%. Savage can be an easy transition for those who have a decent endgame MMO background, but I have definitely seen some of the biggest struggles from casual 14 players getting into savage or even extremes. I’ve had some traumatizing experiences myself with things like this.
@Synnerette Not defending him, but it looks like your static did not do sufficient research. They had 3 P7S clears and no P8SP1 clears. That fight also hit incredibly hard in the first few weeks. He might’ve been in too deep for his experience.
@unloadmytoad@KihraArilith@tenkayshijou That being said M9/M10 have virtually no DPS check assuming you can execute the mechanics properly. Having strict requirements for that fight is kinda silly. 11 was a different story that required no deaths/DDs and would often still hit enrage. Ppl just wanted their best chances.
@unloadmytoad@KihraArilith@tenkayshijou Wanting to hide logs/prog just gives that someone has something to hide and when posed vs another who will show logs willingly, it’s just an easier choice unfortunately. I’m all for having a good raid environment for all but you definitely have to match what you’re going into.
@unloadmytoad@KihraArilith@tenkayshijou It’s video game logs… it’s really not that deep. You’re not gonna get doxxed over your M9 logs. If you want to not get checked just join a casual pf that doesn’t check.
@PurisBordeaux@tenkayshijou@KihraArilith It sounds like you’re minds already made up on this lmao. Sorry square doesn’t like your favorite job as much as you. Week 1 will always favor the meta to stack their odds of success. If DPS didn’t matter I’m sure MCH would be brought every time for double mit, but it does sadly.
@PurisBordeaux@tenkayshijou@KihraArilith These numbers reflect a large gear difference vs week 1, which idk how to filter. Last week the gap was significantly bigger in favor of bard. If a DPS check is tight, why handicap yourself with a lower output job? Meta is meta for a reason. You don’t HAVE to but why make it hard
@TaleraRis@tenkayshijou@KihraArilith I just don’t understand why it’s so important to hide your prog point. Eventually someone’s going to make an accessible way to see anyone’s prog on a given fight, even if it’s not Tomestone. There would be bad actors with or without the information. Just don’t be a dick about it.
@PurisBordeaux@tenkayshijou@KihraArilith I wouldn’t necessarily call it odd. The DPS check on 11 was pretty tight for week 1 especially if the group didn’t get much loot. Our DNC had to swap to BRD for us to meet the check comfortably. Picking a stronger job over hyper minmaxing just makes sense. Job balance matters W1.
