One of the best brains in Islamic Jurisprudence succumbed to COVID-19 and was buried today in Mombasa... Shariff wa Karama is gone, Inna lillahi wa inaelehi rajiun.
Almighty. It’s been a difficult period for all. You’ve seen how vulnerable we are, You’ve seen our weakness. But in all this, we lay our complete trust in You. Bring healing to those who are ill. Protect those who are most at risk. Comfort those who have lost a loved one.
The best way to respond to this pandemic is to maintain a sense of calm & hope. It can be difficult with the influx of daily news that causes anxiety. But we must, for our own sanity. Listen to what the experts tell you, not those who fear monger. Above all, trust the Almighty.
Do you know those who love name dropping? Those who don’t care who you are or where you’re from. They just want to know who you know, what you do and how you can help them. Be careful of such superficial people. They won’t hesitate to use you to suit their whims & fancies!
You can’t expect to change if you keep making excuses for anything that goes wrong with you. Take accountability for your actions & take responsibility for your decisions. Don’t play the blame game. Try to learn from your mistakes, which in turn will help you be a better person.
