When you read what this lady wrote, it confirms what I have been saying about folks who start their arguments with the phrase "When I was a Muslim….yen yen yen" Bro, you were never really in the religion. You just wore the label.

Painfully, ignorance oozes out of her tweet. She said she is running away from the title Ẹrú Ọlọ́run, which translates to Abd in Arabic.

Listen carefully, the highest honor God ever gave to Prophet Muhammad in the Quran was calling him His servant. This is because being a slave to the Creator is the only state that frees a human being from being a slave to the creation.

Why do you think somebody like me is so bold and daring today? Why do you think we are not afraid of these gods, the Oloolus, the Sangos and the many false gods people parade today?

You will surely be a slave or something in this world whether consciously or subconsciously. To claim you can’t be a slave is a false psychological pretense.

We Muslims chose to be servant of the Almighty Allah, so we would be free from the shackles you got yourself into.

Again, your friend also gave you a highly uneducated answer. Muslims do not reject the term "children of God" because we feel we do not deserve it.

We reject it because it insults the supreme majesty of the Creator. God is not a biological entity. Ascribing fatherhood to God is pulling the Divine down to human limitations. God does not beget, nor is He begotten.

Ife, that is pure emotional projection. You are looking for a psychological coping mechanism to fill a human void. You are not seeking theological truth.

If truly you were a Muslim, Islam teaches you to seek comfort and love from Al-Wadud without shrinking Him into a human dad. If you abandon Islam because you want a heaven daddy, you did not leave because you found a theological flaw. You left because you never understood who God is in the first place.
