Seeing an INLAND EMPIRE matinee at the IFC Center in 2006 in a basically empty room (there were maybe two other people) remains one of the best favorite movie theater experiences I’ve ever had.

The world felt upside down (in a good way) as I walked down 6th Ave afterwards.
