In last week's doctoral seminar, #BioToPStudent @JecmenicaMarina gave an update on her project "Pichia pastoris - QTL mapping for strain development". Hereby, she investigates the biodiversity of Komagataella sp. for biotechnology. She is supervised by @dmattanovich.
Today we introduce #BioToPStudent Michael Baumschabl @MBaumschabl from the group of Diethard Mattanovich @dmattanovich. His project is titled "Increasing efficiency of CO2 assimilation in synthetic autotrophic Pichia pastoris". We are looking forward to his talk today! #phdlife
Really nice public communication about carbon capture in yeast which started with a former #BioToPstudent@TomGassler and still continues, also within BioToP with @BerndMitic@MBaumschabl. Excited about the future outcome of these promising projects!
