@mkainerugaba Remember, he's not only a lawyer; he's also a politician and a party leader. Increased visibility and public sympathy could significantly boost his political profile and expand his national appeal.
@mkainerugaba It's a good strategy to keep Kizza Besigye in prison and Robert Kyagulanyi out of the country, but be careful as you may end up turning Erias Lukwago into the next Bobi Wine or Besigye by inadvertently increasing his political profile and attracting greater public sympathy.

30 million shillings used to buy 8 power sockets in Namisindwa district, LC5 chairperson initiates investigations.
The LC 5 chairperson Namisindwa district Emma Bwayo was Left in shock after landing on an expenditure budget document of 30 million shillings used to buy 8 power sockets.
30 million was budgeted for Tsekululu subcounty 25 million shillings for Bukokho subcounty.
"some body went and bought 8 sockets electrical sockets to connect power in the house at 30 million, How much does one socket cost not even with power but sockets,me I used 1.5million to connect power in the whole of my house" Bwayo said.
He added that 25millions were spent on buying two doors and 5 million for labour at Bukokho subcounty something still questionable on how such amount of money was used on buying two doors.
Bwayo said that he will not reduce on the speed of fighting corruption in Namisindwa.
If weโre serious about fighting corruption, we canโt stop at exciting the public with House arrests and headlines. People must be prosecuted and convicted so everyone learns the lesson. This habit of forgiving, only for them to fight us again later demoralizes every anti-corruption crusader. You canโt convict Nandutu over 300 iron sheets, then forgive the one who stole the entire economy. The law must apply equally big or small fish.
This flag pole is only half way complete. Our engineers were waiting for our crane to arrive from abroad to finish it. It's going to be the tallest in Eastern Africa! Rather than salaries and exorbitant allowances money should be spent in making our Fatherland Uganda great!
I shall say one more thing today. The entire budget for roads in Kampala will be under my control (CDF). I will determine who builds and repairs roads.
@mkainerugaba Kampala is becoming too crowded because almost every new building is another arcade or line of shops. KCCA should rethink approvals and encourage more offices, restaurants, cafรฉs, dealerships, and professional spaces. A modern city needs balance, not endless arcades.
