I counted "align" 67 times in one work week. Zoom calls, emails, articles.
We treat it like a buzzword. It's one of the Top 3 Power Words I watch for, and it costs real money when it's off.

Meredith Berkich https://t.co/QpJQKatgCJ Excited to share I've joined Strategic Choice Partners as an Associate-helping direct selling companies build stronger teams, leaders and organizations by maximizing their greatest advantage: their people. Grateful for the partnership! 🎉
We built the hyper-connected world we asked for. 3.57 handshakes between any two strangers. And we're drowning in connections and starving on what they actually deliver.
New vlog: the three human advantages no algorithm can touch.

It Was Never About The Thing. People don't disconnect from your team, cause, or company because of what they say out loud. They quit because they stopped feeling like a participant and started feeling like a spectator.
I spent 30 years watching it happen. https://t.co/AfJZf52POF
76% of leaders say human-centered practices are critically important.
Only 3% of organizations capture the full value their people create.
That is not a knowledge gap. It's a connection gap.
This is the ground my book covers: closing the distance between what we know about human leadership and what we actually practice when the pressure is on.
Because without contact, there is no impact.
There's work behind this, fellow human!
If this one hit you, tell me how you're closing the connection gap where you lead. I would love to hear it.
Do everything with love, my friend.
I was speaking with an entrepreneur recently who is navigating a trust gap inside an organization.
It's not what people are saying. It's what they aren't saying.
When your top performing people go quiet, trust has already left the room.
Oregon Football head coach Dan Lanning, was asked about his team:
"Your best teams are player-led teams. I walk into a team meeting, players are in the front of the room, talking to the team about the things we've got to do better. That speaks to the character of the players."
So many convos about Trust Problems.
Leaders I speak with oft think trust cascades. Not so. Trust must be modeled by the person with power in the room.
Your team reflects your transparency.
Admit you don't know, so will they.
How to build trust faster? Go first, lead out loud.
