Hello LFELC parents! My name is Betsy Hale and I will be the new social-emotional teacher for the preschool 3 year old classroom! I cannot wait to get to meet everyone and get to know the children in the classroom!
Today we talked about fear and how sometimes when we are afraid we are stressed. A good way to de-stress is making stress balls! They had a ball today! 😉
Today we talked about anger! What a better way to demonstrate anger than a volcano! We don’t want to bottle up our feelings and explode on our friends!
Today we talked about “A”ppreciation! Filling up our teachers’ buckets by making them cards! Our teachers do so much and we are so thankful for them! @Jennifer_ELC @ElcMstaylor@MshayleyL@Liz_ELC
Today we talked about being a bucket filler instead of a bucket dipper! Our weekly song is posted below if you would like to sing along with the kids this week! https://t.co/UqFMIIoFDO
To end taking care of our pets week, we cleaned up after our pets! It was also a reminder that we should clean up after ourselves during play time like we need to clean up after our dogs or cats! The kids loved it! #happyfridayeveryone 🤗
Today was about liking ourselves, our friends, and the things in this world! Reminder to pick up art in art folders, bring back about me posters, and bring in a family photo! Tomorrow is show and tell day!
Today we talked about families and how they are important to us. They drew their families. It was great to see them get excited about mommy and daddy. Remember bring in your family photos for our family tree and pick up your all about me poster during pick up! Due Thursday!
Hey parents! This week is all about me week and I would love to have pictures of each family to post on a family tree for the classroom! Also on Friday it is going to be show and tell so have your kiddos bring one item from home to talk about during circle time! Happy Sunday!
Today we made green germ slime! Didn’t get any pictures because we were having too much fun! We learned that just like with slime, when germs get on our hands we have to go wash them!
Today was a continuation of germ week and the kids loved “washing” their germs away with paper towels and expo markers! Parents remember to bring back orientation folders ASAP please and thank you! 🤗
