Congratulations to the MJHL Niverville Nighthawks on winning the Canadian Jr A Centennial Cup championship! The Nighthawks completed an undefeated run at the national tournament with a 4-1 win in the final over the host Summerside Western Capitals!

The Manitoba Hockey Hall of Fame is saddened to hear of the passing of Chuck Lefley. 6th overall pick of the NHL Montreal Canadiens in 1970 NHL Amateur Draft. A 2-time Stanley Cup champion with the Habs before a trade to the St. Louis Blues in 1974. Our condolences to his family.
