Decades telling British people that having kids is low status. Telling girls that to get pregnant is the worst thing that can happen. Social pressure to get half of all young people to go to university to then become heavily indebted, with it being a total waste of 3-5 years of their prime years.
Decades terrifying people that the world is going to burn up. Decades telling people the world is overpopulated and therefore immoral to have children—but this doesn’t apply to non Western countries. Decades of an economic system that prioritises putting people in work over family formation.
Yeah. Guess what? People stop having babies.
I repeat: the British middle class contempt of the working class is the only prejudice they have allowed themselves, so this is just ridicule porn from JOE to spoon feed to them.

I see now the new line is, "Okay, maybe the prequels had some good ideas and cool fight scenes, but everyone has to admit the acting and dialogue was terrible."
No, we're conceding nothing. We are claiming total cultural victory. The prequels are actually jam-packed with great actors playing legendary characters delivering banger after banger after banger. The reality is a complete inversion of what you're saying, to a truly remarkable degree. Hayden Christensen rules and everyone loves him now. Natalie Portman has literally never been hotter. Dexter Jettster is the idol of millions.
As you may have heard, “The Thing” has been added to the Library of Congress. We made the movie to push against the edges of what we could pull off, and it carries that strain in its bones. Seeing it now treated with the same care and reverence we had making it means a great deal to me and everyone who brought it to life.
I especially want to remember TK Carter, who brought heart and humor into that desolate, frozen place and should be standing here with us today sharing in this recognition.
Thank you to everyone who continues to keep it alive.
En lo personal más que por falta de autenticidad, la mayoría de escenas de sexo que veo en películas y series parecen excusas de directores depravados en una industria pervertida para ver a los actores desnudos.
All I ever see is photos of them “working,” “working” for crazy long hours overnight (what!!), “working” in crazy places like the gym or…a restaurant (?????) but I never see any products or results. Striver mentality. A social media impression of what they think work ethic is.
