Remember that woman who worked for both the Home Affairs and against Home Affairs by serving on the advisory board while at the same time representing a client (Chidimma) who is taking Home Affairs to court? Remember her? Well it turns out she's not the only issue we may have on that Home Affairs advisory board.

Serving on that same board, is the deputy chairperson of that board Mr. Andreas Krensel, who was born and raised in Germany. Let this sink in. We have a German in our immigration affairs. Thanks to the DA.

Then there's Mr. James Chapman. And this one I have a serious problem with. Because he has worked in the NGO space. The same NGOs that challenge our governments and prevent and interrupt our governance. He has worked for Scalabrini Centre of Cape Town which had legal campaigns to challenge our regulations to protect foreigners.

These are the people that the DA Minister Leon Schreiber has brought into our Home Affairs. Just imagine. He brought in a legal practitioner who is also working with clients that challenge the same Home affairs she's working for. He brought in a German to come and decide our immigration fate. And he has brought in someone from the NGO space with a history of challenging us on immigration on behalf of foreigners. Do you guys see the inside job that the DA is doing? They are deliberately infiltrating our immigration systems.

SOUTH AFRICA IS LOSING ITS UNIVERSITIES TO FOREIGN ACADEMICS.

According to DHET HEMIS 2023 data and 2024 foreign staff headcount figures, here's the reality of South Africa's public universities:

Total Permanent Academic Staff (2023) 20,946
Foreign Academic Staff (2024) 6,739
Estimated South African Academics 14,207

Foreign academics make up 32.2% of the listed academic staff across South Africa’s public universities. South African Share 67.8%

At UJ, the foreign academic headcount is shown at 1,422 against 1,359 permanent academic staff recorded in 2023 ..; meaning the foreign figure is 104.6% of that 2023 permanent-staff baseline.

The University of Johannesburg employs more foreign academics than it has permanent academic staff
.; 104.6% foreign representation. UCT and Wits aren't far behind, with foreign academics making up over 80% of their academic workforce.

Which means

6,739 foreign academics are employed across South African universities

Zimbabweans make up 27% of foreign academics, followed by Nigerians at 14%

Foreign nationals constitute approximately 12% of permanent academic staff nationally ..; a figure that has remained stable over many years

Parliament has issued stern warnings to universities over immigration compliance

With unemployment at 32.9% and thousands of qualified South African graduates unable to find work, this data demands answers.

So the uncomfortable questions need to be asked:

How are these appointments being made?
What recruitment criteria are being used?
How many qualified South African academics are being overlooked?
How many foreign academics are working in our universities?
What are the nationality and employment figures for each institution?
And who is actually monitoring this?

This is Kebone Masange, a Zimbabwean national who worked as a Town Planner and later Head of Settlement for the Mpumalanga Provincial Government.

He claims he was born in South Africa, but Home Affairs records state that he entered the country in 1995 using a Zimbabwean passport listing Gwanda, Zimbabwe, as his birthplace.

Home Affairs also alleges inconsistencies involving his identity documents and immigration history.

The latest court battle is about forcing Home Affairs to disclose the records surrounding his South African IDs and immigration status.

We suspect there may be an issue concerning his identity and documentation.

On 24 August, he allegedly applied for a driver’s licence using an ID number that appears to indicate that he was born in 2004.

However, the information available to us states that Ndoyisile Ndumiso Sibindi was born on 2 November 1999 and is Zimbabwean, a model, entrepreneur and social media influencer. The report further states that he was born and raised in Esigodini, Bulawayo Province, Zimbabwe.

We call for the relevant authorities to verify his identity, date of birth, nationality and documentation.

During the 2026 SONA which was in February, the President promised the employment of 10000 labour inspectors to deal with the employers that violate immigration and labour laws.

Over 6 months later, no labour inspector has been hired not even positions have been advertised.
