Those are the transformative stories Jesus was so often taking His disciples to. ones today often avoided

But true peace is here for us, not in changed circumstance, not in what the world offers, but in a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Something else in v31 Religious leaders wanted bodies removed for Sabbath. Just seems their heart was more about what was comfortable for them, than concern/empathy for those killed & their loved ones, or their stories. A sentiment that may still apply
