@vmaughan3 I saw a kid get a compound fracture sliding into home and making contact with the catcher. Doctor told him a sliding glove could have prevented that from happening. That kid is going to play for LSU next year as a freshman.

@coachzblair10 If you are looking for a “fair” situation in private or public high school baseball; you are going to get your feelings hurt. In Mississippi, the situation is astronomically imbalanced. Zero shame & no way to enforce the “rules”.
@SECUnfiltered Finally someone says it: Recruiting showcase players, recruiting projectability, not recruiting contact hitters who have high batting averages/high OB%/Quality at bats , recruiting players who throw hard but with zero accuracy is and has ruined baseball.
13 years ago I was sitting in a jail cell having lost everything I loved. I had to start from scratch and slowly pick up broken pieces. One day at a time I was able to begin to piece it back together. Because of my family and my daughter and my baseball boys life became important again. My passion and purpose became making an impact on them and I just hope I’ve done a good job.
I’m thankful for Heritage Academy and the opportunity they gave to me.
I’m thankful for my scars because I’m a better man today. Never give up. Never give up.
