This brilliant piece by Arsenal keeper @AaronRamsdale98 all about coping with toxic social media is a must read even if you have no interest in football https://t.co/gY3xawusLq
@PatricKielty@RTELateLateShow Bravo @RTELateLateShow What an excellent choice @PatrickKielty is. IMO he is one of the best broadcasters out there today. In a media world flooded with uneducated, ill-informed & politically jaundiced presenters, he is a measured, intelligent & morally grounded voice. 👏👏👏
@Dr__Duran @Ciarabelles I’m Irish & I’ve never had alcohol. Most of my family are non-drinkers & of the few who are, most have an occasional drink at Christmas, at a family celebration or for medical reasons😃. I know only a couple of people who over indulge. I find this stereotyping very upsetting.
I'm at BBC HQ in London where there is a statue of George Orwell and his words
"If Liberty means anything at all, it means the right to tell people what they do not want to hear."
Watch the vid 🙏🏼

@CatharineHoey He is not ‘owned’ by the BBC. Outside of his BBC time, he has a right to a voice just like every other citizen. This narrative, from a concerning number of people, trying to shut down free speech, when they don’t like the message, causes me concern for the future of our democracy
No Football Focus presenters
No Final Score presenter
No Match of the Day presenters, commentator or interviewees
All in solidarity with Gary Lineker because he said that the language of the Govt was dangerous AND IT IS
@markmacken @newschambers Ian Wright IS a real hero and an inspiration to many. He is taking a moral stance, not simply ‘not turning up for work’ as you blithely state.
“All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing“. Thank you @GaryLineker@IanWright0@AlexScott@alanshearer for speaking up 👏 Please, all aspiring MOTD presenters, don’t be the person who sells your humanity for an hour of fame #MOTD#Solidarity
To everyone who attacked him for speaking up for hungry children, don’t dare cheer him now. His greatest achievement has been his support for vulnerable people but tonight is about karma. What a great & deserved night for a wonderful human being. #Rashford#engwales#WorldCup
Babatunde voted out tonight? I feel so embarrassed to be a part of this country at this time. If what is happening on this programme is a reflection on British society today, what a bad place we are in. #ImACelebrityGetMeOutOfHere
Horrific example of parental physical abuse in junior tennis. Over to you to deal with this through whichever governing body he falls under @worldtennis. 😡 😢
@AreteMindset@JudyMurray@worldtennis The ONLY person who should feel degraded by the exposure of this incident is the perpetrator of the violent attack. Why, why should the person who was attacked feel any embarrassment? It’s time we all changed the narrative & point our fingers in the right direction.
