Matt Krupa, owner of Pasta Express, spoke with my class about healthy food preparation. The kids came up with questions, and he did a fantastic job discussing his answers with us. He gave each student a free Pasta Express kids meal and menu when he left! #McBrideJourney

@DrJ_Anderson The positive culture begins we me. The more positive I am, the more likely others will be too.

[Laura Strausbaugh @McBride4thGrade]

@DrJ_Anderson I am Laura Strausbaugh. I am a 4th grade teacher at McBride Elementary.

[Laura Strausbaugh @McBride4thGrade]

@sdublin1 A5 I plan on sending home more positive notes. My students love them! I also want to recognize more parent contributions to my classroom in my weekly newsletters.

[Laura Strausbaugh @McBride4thGrade]

@DrJ_Anderson A4 Each student really walks to the beat of their own drum, so we just have to listen to the music they play and find ways for them to share their unique talents.

[Laura Strausbaugh @McBride4thGrade]

@sdublin1 A3 I enjoy getting to know my students on a personal level. I like to talk to them about their favorite sports, activities, etc. I want to show them that I am interested in their lives beyond the academic classroom.

[Laura Strausbaugh @McBride4thGrade]

@DrJ_Anderson I think it is important to realize that every person has their own daily life struggles. I can try to be aware of this during my interactions with my students and colleagues.

[Laura Strausbaugh @McBride4thGrade]

@sdublin1 A1 In a school with a positive culture, you would feel as if you belong and are valued.

[Laura Strausbaugh @McBride4thGrade]

The kids have worked very hard on the backdrops for the plays they wrote. They are looking forward to performing them for the other 4th grade classes next week. #@Mcbridejourney

@LRHSWildcats @LR_Swim They started out as freshman as a team of three who couldn't form a relay team. As seniors they are going to state in two relays! So proud of all your hard work ladies!
