Great to turn the sod on the new walkway at @redhughsgaa Club. The Killygordon club was allocated €200,000 under the Community Sports Facilities Fund for a walking track & floodlighting development in the 2024 funding announcement.

Fianna Fáil in Government is delivering a record €33 million in core funding for sport this year.
Minister of State with responsibility for Sport Charlie McConalogue says this funding will support 57 National Governing Bodies and 29 Local Sports Partnerships.

Connacht Rugby received €20 million in state funding under the Large Scale Sport Infrastructure Fund (LSSIF) - the largest capital investment to date in LSSIF - for the project.
Had an extremely positive meeting with members of @StEunansGAA Club in Letterkenny this morning about the next stage of the ambitious development plan for O'Donnell Park.
There was a large representation of sports clubs in Kilkenny at the Ormonde Hotel for the information evening held to assist clubs who will be applying for support through the Community Sports Facilities Fund later this year.
Great to welcome GAA President Jarlath Burns to the Department's Offices on Leeson Lane today for the opening of the exhibition that captures the evolution of the GAA & gives a brief history of Gaelic sports.

Delighted to announce a record investment of €33.36 million in Core Funding support to sporting organisations through

This includes €19.5 million for 57 National Governing Bodies of Sport and €12.66 million for 29 Local Sports Partnerships.
Delighted to welcome the Min @jackfchambers to Donegal today. Min Chambers launched the €16m Riverine PEACEPLUS Project, & PEACE-Air, the €6.5m North-South research project on air pollution.
He also met the IBEC Northwest Committee & presented prizes at the VEX Robotics event.
The funding of €15 million per annum for a 5-year period to support the Post Office network recognises the cultural & geographic importance of Post Offices in our communities all over Ireland.
