MO Legislators are attempting to erode Missouri's Clean Water Law (HB 1973 & SB 823) by stripping any ability for the State to restrict pollution from agriculture operations - SIGN OUR PETITION TODAY! https://t.co/CPtp8oEYOg
More frequent & intense rain + the constriction of the Missouri River is increasing flooding, as @tonymess points out in his article. Here's an illustration of the changes to the lower Missouri as depicted by Dr. Bob Criss, who is also referenced in the article. #moleg
Growing impervious surfaces also contribute to increased flooding. During 20 years from 1980-2000, impervious surfaces grew by 320,736 acres in MO. More water runoff would occur in 2000 than 1980 in an identical rain event. @tonymess#moleg

The Katy Land Trust is encouraging people to attend a public zoning hearing in St. Charles (12/20/2017) that could lead a large new neighborhood development on land currently owned by @Mizzou. cc @LTAlliance
