I will say that I am not familiar with this outlet, but this couldn
could explain why Senator Armstrong is fighting so hard against @krhern taking office upon election. https://t.co/i0ovFXagvi
News: Attorney’s representing Rep. Kevin Hern sent a letter to Oklahoma Gov Kevin Stitt, AG Gentner Drummond and the Secretary of State about the appointment of Oklahoma Sen Alan Armstrong.
@Governorblack78@Blake_Allen13@krhern@MarkTedfordOK 94 was interesting. The other oddity there is that J.C. Watts (already alphabetically at the end) actually waited a few days to be sworn in as he held on to his seat in the Corporation Commission until Frank Keating became governor so David Walters would not appoint that seat.
Just amazed there is any question. For the sake of Oklahoma, we need @krhern sworn in ASAP. Seniority system is important especially for smaller states like Oklahoma. We need Hern on vital committees and @MarkTedfordOK to get a jumpstart as well.
@Governorblack78@Blake_Allen13@krhern@MarkTedfordOK Election is Nov. 3. We are talking about the switch happening between the certification Nov. 6 and January. State law pretty clear that if vacancy occurs in even numbered year, whoever wins November is to immediately be seated.
@cooterdwayne@krhern@MarkTedfordOK Not certain you understand "committee duties" have nothing to do with parties. Committees are where the real work is done. MoCs cannot be experts everywhere and often focus on what their committees are doing. That is why committee assignments (and seniority) are so important.
@reesejgorman For Oklahoma's sake, would like to see the new Senator start with more seniority. It matters! And, I believe it would let Tedford get a jumpstart in the House as well.
@jakefisher@TheDunkCentral No. At one time I started the hashing #KowarD. I alsongave out 500 cardstock cupcakes in sections 110 and 111 in his return game.
