Ted. Look at our deficit. Look at how much we pay in interest every minute of every day. Look what that is doing to interest rates.
It’s Econ 101, you either have to raise revenue significantly, cut spending, significantly. Or both.
Talarico committed to support the Break Up Big Medicine Bill. That was a pre requisite for my doing the event with him this week.
If this Hawley/ Warren bill passes, we would reduce the deficit. We would cut costs for patients. Drug pricing would drop like a rock.
Yet not a word from you in support Ted. Why ?
A true capitalist would understand how these economics work. They wouldn’t ignore the fact that our debt levels pull money away from business. And consumers.
If you truly want to do what is best for business, and the economy, we are going to have to raise taxes and cut spending.
The best place to cut spending is by removing the HealthCare middlemen that are Too Big To Care, which is exactly what the Break Up Big Medicine Bill does
You ready to whip up support among republicans ? Or do you prefer people dying because they can’t afford care , and the economy continuing to slow down because we are having to print money to financial engineer our debt obligations.
What say you Ted ?
@Tony_Denaro@glennthegreat Agree with you. But letting them expire worthless when they have the ability to extend them doesn’t make much sense.
I sold most of mine early and bought back at $1.50. Priced to zero but fully expecting them to pay.
This appears consistent with TD acquiring eBay shares to hedge GME’s derivative position. Nothing particularly unusual there, IMO, but it does further demonstrate how closely TD and GME are working together on the eBay transaction.
Data centers have lobbyists and cows do not. In Congress they tried to pass a bill to exempt data centers from environmental lawsuits, so more data centers could be built in pastures. I stopped them (for now) by blowing the whistle.
@FortWayneCPA Anyone need extra hand this coming season? Licensed CPA (and CFP soon) looking for more experience/side work.
