Over the weekend , some of our chemistry teachers had the opportunity to go to the Rockford ComEd training facility and learn about energy and its applications in the classroom.

APES went to the McHenry Wastewater Treatment plant to learn more about how our waste water is treated. They also learned how different pollutants in storm water runoff can have detrimental effects to our river.
Chemistry classes have been busy this week! Mr. Poci's Dual Credit Chemistry made aspirin that they also weighed and tested for purity. Ms. Thompson's and Ms. Leonard's chemistry classes have been observing chemical reactions. #WarriorReady156
🏆 Biomedical Science Instructor Leah Pelletier earned an Award of Excellence from the Illinois State Board of Education for her work teaching as well as growing the biomedical science program.
