BREAKING: Justices Ketanji Brown Jackson and Sonia Sotomayor unleash a fiery dissent after the MAGA-controlled Supreme Court turns away a Black dancer's discrimination lawsuit appeal.

This is how you end up on the right side of history...

The case in question revolves around dancer Chanel Nicholson's allegation that several Houston clubs maintained policies that set a limit on the number of Black dancers who could work the same shift — a blatant violation of federal anti-racial discrimination law.

According to Nicholson, she was repeatedly denied work opportunities due to this illegal quota in 2014, 2017, and 2021. Her lawsuit was dismissed by a district court which held that the statute of limitations had begun in 2014 and since run out. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit supported the ruling.

Nicholson requested that the Supreme Court rule on whether the statute of limitations starts running even if there's a "pattern or practice" of racial discrimination like there so clearly was in her case. The court — which again it must be noted is controlled by Republicans — declined to hear the case.

"We have long held that ‘[e]ach discrete discriminatory act starts a new clock for filing charges alleging that act,’ regardless of whether similar instances of discrimination have occurred in the past," wrote Jackson in her dissent which Sotomayor joined.

"Because the Fifth Circuit’s contrary ruling was patently erroneous, this Court should have granted Nicholson’s petition and summarily reversed the judgment," she added.

Jackson pointed to two particularly egregious examples of discrimination cited by Nicholson. In 2017, she was told by the manager at Cover Girls that she couldn't work because there were "too many Black girls" on shift. After a hiatus, she was then told by a manager at the club that they were "not taking any more Black girls."

"To conclude that Nicholson’s claims are time barred because there were earlier instances of discriminatory treatment, as the Fifth Circuit did, impermissibly inoculates the clubs’ more recent discriminatory conduct," Jackson wrote.

"If sustained discriminatory motivation is all that is required to transform recent, racially discriminatory acts into the ‘continued effects’ of earlier discriminatory conduct, then past discrimination could inexplicably prevent recovery for later, similarly unlawful conduct," she added.

I’m sure Faux News won’t report on this, but how is it the guy that keeps blowing stuff up literally & figuratively, is firing people claiming that they are failures?! We know his failures have nothing to do with DEI because he doesn’t believe in it, but he’d possibly be succeeding right now if he did believe. Ya see, clearly there’s a lot of unqualified people running this thing… maybe expand the talent pool or maybe he has them focusing on their 5 things they’ve done over the week instead of the task at hand; you know not having stuff blow up and present a danger to the rest of the country.

According to The Intelligencer, a representative of Warner Bros. Discovery "recently reached out" to someone within the "Trump orbit" for advice on how the company can most "advantageously interact with the White House" and work to "improve its Trump-age odor."

The WBD representative was told to "look at the example" provided by Jeff Bezos and Amazon paying a whopping $40 million for a Melania Trump documentary about herself — a business move that was interpreted by many analysts as a naked attempt to ingratiate the billionaire and his company with MAGA.

The representative was informed that "Don Jr. might like a hunting and fishing show on the Discovery Channel" and that CNN could consider platforming "more pro-Trump voices."

This is an absolutely stunning abuse of power. Donald Trump is leveraging the full might of the White House to extort, bully, and intimidate American companies into corrupt sweetheart deals. Worst of all, this is likely just the tip of the iceberg.

We need a full investigation, immediately.

BREAKING: Judge Aileen Cannon enrages MAGA world by announcing that she will NOT block the release of Special Counsel Jack Smith's report on his investigation into Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
