This screenshot leaves out the part people in medicine and forensic pathology actually care about: context.

Yes, 11 ng/mL of fentanyl can be fatal in some people under “normal circumstances.” Toxicology values are not one-size-fits-all. Chronic opioid users have survived levels higher than that, while opioid-naïve patients may die at far lower concentrations.

That is precisely why cause of death is not determined by toxicology alone.

The medical examiner did not certify this as “fentanyl overdose.” The official ruling was cardiopulmonary arrest complicating law enforcement restraint, subdual, and neck compression, with fentanyl and methamphetamine listed as contributing conditions.

And clinically, opioid overdose has a recognizable pattern: progressive sedation, decreased responsiveness, slow respirations, pinpoint pupils, then apnea. Floyd remained conscious, verbal, distressed, resisting, and interactive for an extended period. That does not exclude fentanyl contribution, but it does argue against the simplistic “he just overdosed” narrative.

Medicine is more complicated than screenshot jurisprudence.
