Yesterday, we had the honor of welcoming the Assistant High Commissioner of India to Kenya, Mr. Rama Kant Kumar, to the Office of the Governor, where he signed the condolence book and paid tribute to the late Rt. Hon. Raila Amolo Odinga.

Staff of the County Government of Mombasa together with hundreds of residents streamed into the Office of the Governor in Treasury Square today to sign the condolence book in honour of our departed Party Leader and national icon, H.E. Raila Amolo Odinga.

This outpouring of love and solidarity reflects the deep respect and admiration that Mombasa holds for Baba - a man whose lifelong struggle for democracy, justice and unity transformed our nation.

The condolence book remains open at the Governor’s Office, Treasury Square, until Saturday, October 18th at 12:00 p.m. for all who wish to pay their final respects.
