The NCAA and the member institutions,including the SEC members, adopted the 5th year rule, they are fighting the same rule they voted to impelement

@MyGolfSpy Older player, swing speed around 85-90, probably a 50g R flex shaft is what the experts say, however, I have a very aggressive transition. Got fit with a Ventus Velocore blue 6S, it is a bit stiff but dispersion is great, stiff enough to support the aggressive transition.

@MikeRossLSU I think that is the big thing people are missing, the NCAA and the institutions adopted the 5th year rule, these players are only getting their 5th year. All teams can do it and calling them NFL players is a bit of a stretch, they never had a contract that kicked in.

@CJFWrites What I don't get, this is an NCAA rule - Under NCAA and conference regulations, declaring for an opt-in professional draft or signing a professional contract generally ends a student-athlete's remaining college eligibility in those sports. Players opt-in to the draft.
