On September 15th, 2025, President Erin Hastings, MCSA Rep. to the State 911 Commission Kevin Lessard, and Thomas Bonnarigo of Hickey & Associates, testified on House Bill 2663 and Senate Bill 1761 at the Joint Committee on Public Safety & Homeland Security.
These bills advocate for recognition of 9-1-1 Telecommunicators across the entire Commonwealth as First Responders and all of the benefits they deserve with that recognition. This legislative and advocacy effort on behalf of MCSA and MASS NENA is part of an ongoing push to our
