Yesterday was our first race of 2025 up at Wycliffe Big Boats Head

What an incredible afternoon at our Reindeer Dash!! Thank you to everyone for making it a special event and a great way to end the term and year!!
Team Rudolph led by vice captain Sam C took home the Golden Reindeer and won our 16 team Team relay erg.
Great start to year up at Avon County today! A few new challenges for our members with the seniors boys racing sweep boats and our Year 11's taking on coxless quads. Our year 10's continued to gain valuable experience. while our senior girls took home our first win in WJ18 4x 🥇

An amazing couple of weeks for our Year 8 Summer Camps
Over 30 students going from never being in a rowing boat from the start of the week to finishing the week being able to row a fine single.
As well as learning a few tricks with their new sense of balance

It is the first time since the covid-19 pandemic we have had members selected for the sweep team!

Tomorrow students of MCSBC will attempt a combined sponsored row to cover the distance from Monmouth Rowing club to Vaires-Sur-Marine Nautical Satdium where the rowing will take place at the Paris Olympics this summer

Well done to the crew of Maddie, Seren, Nanci & Hannah for becoming the 1st ever women's crew from MCSBC to attempt to qualify for Royal Henley!
While sadly missing out on qualification the girls put in a gutsy performance and set a new standard for women's rowing at MCSBC!
An action-packed day of racing for the club up at Stratford Upon-Avon. Well done to everyone who raced!
The club came away with one win for our J14 4X+ 🏆 and some great efforts with multiple crews reaching finals but sadly missing out. Onto Ironbirdge sprint in 2 weeks!
An amazing effort yesterday from Eleanor and Seren who became the first ever MCSBC crew to reach an A final in sweep at National Schools Regatta!
