Big congrats to Jozie Allen for winning the Rise Up Sports Cassidy Rowe Courage Award!! @JozieAllen

When Jozie suffered a knee injury, she didn’t even know the severity of it until the next day when she woke up with pain and significant swelling. In fact, she went to the free throw line immediately following the injury and knocked down the free throws, and also finished out the game. After receiving the news about the extent of the injury, Jozie decided to finish out the season with only 10 games remaining.

She still averaged 12 RPG and 8 PPG on a torn ACL, while helping her team to the Regional Championship. When she returned to the court this season, she immediately got back to leading the team and averaging a double-double (16.1 PPG & 10 RPG in 25 games played). Jozie consistently shows her courage and willingness to do whatever it takes to help her team succeed.
